Firstly, apologies for the delay between this blog and the last. Every week seems to be flying by at the moment.
The good news is that the conversion work at our new home in Capel is firmly on track, there is still a lot to do, however we hope to be in Sept – Oct. To give you an idea of the scale of work, we have approx 9000 litres of LPG gas tanks being installed with all the Health and Safety considerations that go with it. On top of that, designing a new brewery even in a much bigger space is like a giant game of Jenga.
Our team continues to grow and as we grow we are lucky to have secured a number of new partnerships. We were fortunate to form part of a garden for Blind Veterans UK at RHS Hampton Court, where a small Dorking Brewery machine pumped out ice cold pints of our collaboration beer “Gemini” for the veterans. On top of that various ships around the Royal Navy, including HMS Enterprise and HMS Pembroke are enjoying our new Naval beer “Defaulters” as we speak.
We also received the good news last week that Youngs Pubs will be able to order our beer from September. This opens up a large new market for us which we are all very excited about.
We will have a large party for everyone when we move, – in the meantime feel free to pop down for any beer you might need!
