Although Stanza sings from the same hymn sheet, with an assertive hop bitterness, it’s even paler and hoppier than our flagship Pilcrow Pale. Nelson Sauvin, Cascade, and a touch of Moasic and Riwaka combine to evoke aromas of lychee, tropical fruit, stone fruit and white wine. This Extra Pale Ale is the next verse in DB’s line up.

Keeping Your Beer Fresh

 

Our beer will remain fresh for up to 6 days if stored in a cool dry place.
  1. Chill it upright in the fridge for a few hours, ideally overnight. Mini kegs pour best cold and settled.
  2. Stand it near the edge of a worktop so a pint glass fits under the tap.
  3. Pull the red tab out, then turn it to open the flow.
  4. Hold the glass at an angle and pour steadily for a clean head.
  5. Turn the tap back to close it between pours.

We have brewed at Aldhurst Farm in Capel, near Dorking, since 2008. Our taproom, The Tap & Gun, is on site, so you can drink the beer where it is made.
